A new set of stairs with handrails was constructed, with integrated color to complement the house. A carved stone pillar fountain is incorporated on the upper level.  Feng Shui principles guide the design. 

 

• The planting scheme is drought tolerant, deer resistant, and fire resistant.

• Tuscany stone is hand shaped into textural blocks as edging material.

• The plantings incorporate native and flowering plants, with a color scheme of deep plum-bronze foliage with complementary foliage and flowering plants.

• In the rear, garden plants surround a swimming pool to create a private sanctuary.
